What is Electric Image Animation System 2.0? Electric Image (a.k.a. EIAS) is a 3D animation system for 68K Macs (altough it requires a FPU) which lets you import your 3D models in various formats from another modeling app and then render your animated 3D scene to a movie format. Electric Image Animation System 2.0 is perceived as one of the fastest 3D rendering engine for early Macs. EIAS 2.0 introduces plugins called 'sockets' to allow you even more composition possibilities, for instance allowing you to create basic 3D shapes using the 'standard shape' socket.
